The Love-Thornell Collection of Black American Photographs
The Love-Thornell Collection of Black American Photographs contains over 1300 photographs including cabinet cards, tintypes, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, stereotypes, carte de visites and postcards documenting Black American life from the mid-nineteenth to mid-twentieth century. The collection was collected over a 15 year period by Jaquelyn Love-Thornell.
