The Cooper Collection contains one negative and 14 photographs (copies) owned by Lorna Cooper, daughter of Orice D. Hart, who constructed many historic Broward county buildings.

Biographical / Historical
Lorna D. Cooper, was born on January 12, 1914 and attended Fort Lauderdale High School where she graduated in 1932. She was a member of her high school band. Her father, Orice D. Hart, was a contractor and built a number of historic Broward County buildings, including Southside and Westside High Schools and the Broward County Courthouse. Mrs. Cooper married Gratton Cooper on November 30, 1943. She passed away on November 5, 1997.
