Eleanor Rogers Welch, granddaughter of Dwight Laing Rogers, Sr. (1886-1954) donated these materials to the Broward County Historical Commission on May 15, 2011. Dwight L. Rogers, Sr., had been a resident of Broward County, a member of the Florida State House of Representatives (1930-1938) and a Congressman in the United States House of Representatives (1945-1954).
